What is Immerse?

Immerse, The Reading Bible, is a six-volume Bible created with one goal in mind: to provide the best reading experience possible. The text is laid out in a beautiful single-column setting with chapter and verse numbers, sections headings, and footnotes removed. It is intentionally uncomplicated.

There are no DVD curricula and no workbooks. Instead, at home groups and bible studies, we will walk through questions like, "What stuck out to you?" and "Was there anything that you found confusing?"

What should I do to get started?

1.  Sign up: On the connection card in the bulletin; on the sign-up sheet on the Welcome Center; call the office; or message NLF on Facebook.

2.  Each set of six books costs only $25.00!  (See Becky Williams or Linda Sadowski to turn in money.)

3.  Let Pastor Joel know if you are interested in hosting a home group once a week. The groups will meet based on your choice of day, location and time.

This is not meant to be a one-time experience. Rather, Immerse enables us as a church to follow a regular communal Bible reading rhythm. By reading together twice a year, we can read through all six volumes - the entire Bible in three years... and again!

Where and when do we meet?

To kick off the first book that we will study, Messiah, we will meet at
New Life Fellowship on Wednesday, May 8th at 6:30pm.
During the first meeting, we will break down into smaller home groups based on how many hosts are facilitating a group in their home.

After the locations and times of the home groups are planned, they will be available on our Calendar. You are free to attend whichever home group aligns best with your schedule.
